St. Alphonsus High School has as its patron, Saint Alphonsus of Liguori. He was a man of God, a great teacher and a model of purity or truth. St. Alphonsus had a special love for the poor and children. He wrote many books on Christianity.

He asked people to be courteous and kind every day. He said : "Today

God invites you to do good - do it. Tomorrow you may not have the time."

Our school is Minority Catholic (Christian) institution of Hyderabad Archdiocese Educational Society (Regd. No. 1162 of 1983). The school was established to educate children, irrespective of caste and creed. This is a Christian concept school with its emphasis on "Education with Ethics."

Fr. B.L. Peter (1992-94), the founder Principal, started the school for non-formal education on June 12th, 1992. It was subsequently upgraded. A new school building was constructed aesthetically with the financial help received from Jan and Tony Gevers from Holland. Now St. Alphonsus has Nursery to X std. The school is a co-educational institution and is recognised by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
